Privacy Policy
- We collect what we need to help you find work or hire people: your account, your profile, your applications and, if you take one, your skills test.
- Employers only see your full profile when you apply to their job.
- Our AI tools help write, match and score. AI never rejects anyone. A person always makes the hiring decision.
- We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.
- You can download your test data at any time, and delete your account in the app or by emailing us.
1. Who we are
TrabahoCentral is an online job portal operated by [MBT Tech, registered business name and DTI/SEC number], [business address], Philippines ("TrabahoCentral", "we", "us"). We are the personal information controller for the information described in this policy, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules.

2. Information we collect
Account information (everyone)
- Email address, account type (jobseeker or employer) and your password (stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form).
- If you sign in with Google or Apple: your account ID and email from that service. With Apple you may choose a private relay email.
- Your chosen school theme and display preferences.
Jobseeker profile
- Name, headline, location, skills, work experience, education, bio, website and social media links.
- Up to 4 profile photos, an intro video and a video cover letter, if you add them.
- Résumés you upload for import: we read the text to fill in your profile and do not keep the file.
- Verification of your website or GitHub account, if you choose to verify them.
Applications, messages and skills tests
- Jobs you apply to, application status updates, and messages between you and employers.
- If an employer sends you a skills test and you agree to take it: your answers, scores and the reasons for each score, start and finish times, extra-time requests, review requests, and skill badges you earn.
- Test integrity signals, such as leaving the test page or pasting text. These only flag a test for a person to review. They never change your score.
Employer information
- Company name, profile, logo and photos, team members and their roles, and job posts.
- For the new-employer promo: your DTI, SEC or CDA registration number or BIR TIN, so each business claims the promo only once.
- Credit purchases and spending (boosts, ads, AI banners, tests). Payments are handled by PayMongo. We never see or store your full card, GCash or Maya details.
Technical information
- IP address, device and browser type, login attempts, and "trusted device" records used to protect your account.
- Basic usage records, such as ad clicks (counted once per visitor per day) and error logs.
- In the app, jobs you save are stored on your phone only.
Please don't include sensitive information you don't need to share, such as your religion, health, government ID numbers or civil status, in your profile, messages or answers.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence (AI): résumé and cover letter writing, résumé import, job matching, job post drafting, status message drafts, website/GitHub consistency checks, ad banner creation, and skills test scoring.
- We use Anthropic (Claude) for text features and OpenAI for ad banner images. We send them only what the feature needs. Under their business API terms, these providers do not use the data we send them to train their models.
- Blind scoring: before a test is scored, your name, email, phone number and links are removed.
- AI never rejects anyone. It ranks candidates and explains each score. Only a person can change your application status.
- Every candidate receives feedback and can ask for a human review of their test within 7 days.
- AI can make mistakes. Please check anything it writes for you before you use it.
5. Who can see your information
- Employers you apply to can see your profile, photos, videos, the information in your application, your messages with them, and your test results for their job. They do not see your test results for other employers.
- The public can see job posts and company pages. Your skill badges stay private unless you choose to show them.
- Anyone with your intro-video QR link, for example someone holding your printed résumé, can watch your intro video. You can replace or delete the video at any time.
- An employer's team members can see the applications to their company's jobs.
- Service providers who run parts of TrabahoCentral for us (see below), under contracts that limit how they use your data.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- If TrabahoCentral is ever merged or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must keep honoring this policy. We will tell you first.

7. Data stored outside the Philippines
As the table shows, some of our providers store or process data outside the Philippines. We stay accountable for your information wherever it is processed, and we only use providers that protect it at a level consistent with the Data Privacy Act.
8. How long we keep your information
- Account and profile: until you delete your account.
- Skills test answers: deleted automatically 12 months after the test. You can delete a test's answers and results sooner from your profile.
- Skill badges: valid for 12 months.
- Promo claims (business registration number): kept after an account is deleted, so the same business cannot claim the promo twice.
- Payment and credit records: kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Security logs: kept only as long as needed to protect the service.
9. How we protect your information
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, email verification codes, new-device checks, private storage with short-lived links for photos and videos, access limits for our own team, and audit logs for score changes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your rights at real risk, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is used. This policy is part of that.
- Access your data and get a copy of it. In your profile you can download everything we keep from your skills tests.
- Correct wrong or outdated information. You can edit most of it yourself in your profile.
- Object to processing, and withdraw consent (for example, to future tests).
- Erasure or blocking: you can delete test data or your whole account.
- Data portability: get your data in a commonly used electronic format.
- Damages, if you are harmed by unlawful processing.
- File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
To use any of these rights, email [[email protected]]. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the period the law allows.
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time:
- Mobile app: Profile → Delete account.
- By email: write to [[email protected]] from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it's you and delete your account within [7] days.
Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, videos, applications and test data. If you sign in with Apple, we also revoke TrabahoCentral's access to your Apple account. If you are a company owner, your company page and job posts are deleted too. We keep only what section 8 lists, such as promo claims and payment records required by law.
12. Cookies and device storage
The website uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, such as your school theme. The app stores the same kinds of things, plus your saved jobs, on your phone. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
13. Age limit
TrabahoCentral is for people 18 years old and above. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as TrabahoCentral changes. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
